- Previous food service experience required
- ability to work part-time hours with flexibility including weekends and evenings
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation standards
- capability to handle cash and follow cash-handling procedures

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate requests and preferences
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special request accommodation
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and cooperate well with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to the supervisor
- ensure the dining room is set up properly before and after service and maintain sanitation standards
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
