Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps
  • delivers food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • accommodates reasonable guest requests and notes preferences
  • communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
  • remains flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintains confidentiality regarding guest information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and escalates to supervisor when necessary
  • ensures the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
