Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable guest requests and notes preferences
- communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
- remains flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintains confidentiality regarding guest information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and escalates to supervisor when necessary
- ensures the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
- collaborates with other departments during special events and performs other duties as assigned
