Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • willingness to learn and receive training
  • flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • advise guests on menu items including ingredients and recommend food and drink combinations
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • handle cash transactions and collect tickets following proper procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area before, during, and after service
  • address guest complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
  • operate dining room equipment such as coffee machines, tea machines, and fire extinguishers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
