Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage but not required
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively as part of a team
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
friendly and professional demeanor
willingness to learn and receive training
flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
advise guests on menu items including ingredients and recommend food and drink combinations
communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
handle cash transactions and collect tickets following proper procedures
maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area before, during, and after service
address guest complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
operate dining room equipment such as coffee machines, tea machines, and fire extinguishers
collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
