Job Requirements
- Prior server experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including varied days and shifts
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- ability to handle cash transactions following company policies
- adherence to safety practices including use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- commitment to confidentiality regarding personal guest information
- ability to perform physical tasks related to dining room setup and operations
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- accommodate reasonable guest requests and dietary needs including allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- address guest complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisor
- set up and clean the dining room before and after service period
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other assigned duties as needed
