Job Requirements
- Previous experience preferred but willing to train
- ability to work part-time flexible schedules including weekends
- strong communication skills

- must be able to handle food and beverage orders
- basic cash handling skills
- willingness to follow sanitation and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous serving experience preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards a plus
- ability to learn and follow established service procedures
- willingness to accommodate flexible work schedules including weekends
- basic math skills for cash handling
- aptitude for providing excellent customer service
- ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues relaying them to supervisors as necessary
- ensure the dining room is set up properly before and after service periods
- operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
