Job Requirements
- One year of previous waiter or waitress experience
 - ability to work flexible part-time hours including nights, holidays, weekends, and Sunday mornings
 - clear communication skills
 - ability to stand and walk for extended periods
 - basic cash-handling skills
 - readiness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
 - willingness to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
 - take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
 - deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
 - follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
 - demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on combinations and accommodating reasonable requests
 - communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
 - exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience while interacting with guests and staff
 - collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
 - promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
 - maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
 - promptly address complaints or relay information to supervisors
 - ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
 - operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
 - collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
 - perform other duties as assigned
