Job Requirements
- Previous serving, dietary aide, or kitchen/restaurant experience preferred
- willingness to train
- availability for part-time work from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- ability to follow established service procedures
- capable of maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well with others
- ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
- able to perform physical tasks required for the role

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating special dietary needs
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
