Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous barista and customer service experience required
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- ability to work part time, Monday through Sunday, 6 am to 3 pm
- reliable transportation to Vie de France location
- ability to follow food safety guidelines and sanitation standards
- legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate dietary requests
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility in guest and staff interactions
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal information
- promptly address complaints or issues and escalate to supervisor
- ensure dining area setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operate dining-related equipment such as coffee machines and iced tea machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
