Job Requirements

Prior server experience required
availability to work part-time schedule Monday through Sunday with varying hours
ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
ability to operate dining equipment
capability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
ability to maintain confidentiality
ability to address customer complaints professionally
physical stamina to perform duties

Job Qualifications

Prior server experience
strong communication skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to handle cash correctly
understanding of specialized diets and allergens
ability to work well in a team
customer service oriented

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on combinations and special diets
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and professionalism
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
ensure dining room setup before and after service
operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
collaborate with other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
