Job Requirements

  • Prior server experience required
  • availability to work part-time schedule Monday through Sunday with varying hours
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to operate dining equipment
  • capability to communicate effectively with guests and staff

  • ability to address customer complaints professionally

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on combinations and special diets
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and professionalism
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room setup before and after service
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
