Job Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred
ability to work part-time Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
reliable transportation to and from work location
ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
good communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
completion of any required food handler safety training
adherence to company policies and procedures
eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous food service experience preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work as part of a team
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physical tasks
customer service orientation
basic math skills for cash handling
flexibility to work scheduled shift hours
willingness to learn and follow training procedures

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
demonstrate complete knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
accommodate reasonable requests and dietary preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding guests' personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and report directly to supervisor
ensure dining room setup before and after service periods while adhering to sanitation standards
operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
