Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a waiter or waitress role preferred
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow food safety guidelines
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- availability to work part-time schedules including evenings and weekends
- basic proficiency in English

Job Duties
- promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrates understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on combinations and special diets
- communicates with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodations of special requests
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly addresses guest complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other department staff during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
