Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior food service experience preferred
ability to work part-time with flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
strong communication skills
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
willingness to follow company policies and procedures
ability to interact professionally with residents and team members

Prior food service experience preferred

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
delivers food promptly and professionally
maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
follows up periodically to assist with additional needs
demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
advises guests on food and drink combinations and accommodates reasonable requests
communicates directly with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special accommodations
exhibits exceptional communication skills and patience when interacting with guests and staff
collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
addresses complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, coffee machines, and soda machines
collaborates with staff during special events and functions
performs other duties as assigned
