Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to work part-time with flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • ability to interact professionally with residents and team members

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally
  • maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional needs
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on food and drink combinations and accommodates reasonable requests
  • communicates directly with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special accommodations
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and patience when interacting with guests and staff
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • addresses complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
  • ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, coffee machines, and soda machines
  • collaborates with staff during special events and functions
  • performs other duties as assigned
