Job Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- ability to work part-time schedule including evenings and weekends
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- adherence to company policies including confidentiality and safety protocols
- reliable transportation to the Wesley Bradley Park location
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
- willingness to wear uniform and comply with grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service or hospitality experience desirable but not required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- capability to operate various restaurant equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards beneficial
- ability to remain flexible and patient under pressure
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable guest requests and note preferences
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodations
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean safe and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay concerns to supervisor
- ensure dining room setup before and after service meeting sanitation standards
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers telephones beverage machines coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
