Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous off-premise catering experience preferred
  • ability to work on-call schedule
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to operate kitchen and dining room equipment safely
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • willingness to comply with company safety policies and drug-free workplace rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in off-premise catering or foodservice preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts
  • strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary requests
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct and timely order delivery
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborate with staff of other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
