Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible, on-call schedule including nights and weekends
  • must have valid RAMP certification
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • applicant must be at least 18 years old
  • must be able to carry out physical duties required by the position
  • must comply with company policies and procedures including safety protocols
  • polite and friendly demeanor
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • RAMP certification required
  • ability to handle cash and maintain accurate transaction records
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • understanding of specialized diets and allergens a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders in an efficient manner, following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
  • demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
  • communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports them to supervisor
  • ensures the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
  • operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborates with other departments during special events and functions
  • performs other duties as assigned
