Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior catering or foodservice experience preferred

  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate dietary preferences
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
  • exhibit excellent communication skills and teamwork
  • collect tickets and handle cash properly
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • address complaints promptly and relay them to supervisors
  • ensure proper dining room setup and cleanup
  • operate dining equipment including beverage machines and fire extinguishers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform additional duties as assigned
