Job Requirements
- Experience required

- willingness to work an on-call schedule Monday through Friday with variable hours
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- capability to operate dining room equipment safely
- adherence to company policies and safety procedures including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- eligibility to work in the location specified
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service or related roles
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- familiarity with menu items and ability to advise guests
- capability to operate relevant dining equipment
- ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately
- flexibility to work variable hours on an on-call basis
- basic understanding of specialized diets and allergens
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others, remaining flexible and patient
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
- set up and tidy the dining room before and after service
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
