Job Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary but preferred
  • ability to work flexible full-time or part-time schedules including evenings
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • physical stamina to handle standing, walking, and carrying trays
  • commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards
  • ability to follow established service procedures and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • customer service experience preferred but not required
  • knowledge of menu items and dietary accommodations a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary requests and allergens
  • communicate directly with kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction
  • collect tickets and handle cash procedures properly
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal and medical information
  • promptly address and relay guest complaints or issues to supervisors
  • set up and reset dining room before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
  • collaborate with other departments for special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
