Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • able to work full-time or part-time flexible schedules
  • capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • comfortable working in a team environment
  • able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • prior experience preferred but not required
  • ability to provide excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to remember orders and details accurately
  • customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate dietary restrictions
  • communicate orders and special requests with back-of-the-house staff
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay them to supervisors
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform additional duties as assigned
