Job Requirements

  • Prior waiter/waitress, hosting, or front of house experience preferred
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests accommodated
  • handle cash transactions following proper procedures
  • maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining area
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay to supervisor
  • set up and clean dining room before and after service
  • operate equipment including coffee machines and soda machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
