Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to provide excellent customer service
  • willingness to learn and participate in training
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends
  • teamwork-oriented attitude
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable guest requests and preferences
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and teamwork
  • handle cash and collect tickets according to procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
  • address complaints or issues promptly
  • set up and maintain the dining area before and after service
  • operate equipment such as coffee machines, soda dispensers, and fire extinguishers
  • assist with duties during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
