Job Requirements
- Two years of previous serving experience preferred
- ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including Monday through Saturday and some weekends
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of safe food handling practices
- ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace
- ability to operate relevant dining room equipment
- willingness to adhere to company policies including wearing protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years serving experience preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- advise guests on menu items and accommodate dietary requests
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special accommodations
- collect tickets and adhere to proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining area
- address guest complaints promptly and professionally
- ensure dining room setup prior to and after service
- operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
