Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of serving experience preferred
  • ability to work full time or part time schedules
  • flexible availability including some weekends
  • food handling and safety knowledge
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • cash handling skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
  • commitment to punctuality and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and maintain food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up with guests to assist with additional needs
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • collect tickets and handle cash properly
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • address complaints promptly and escalate to supervisor
  • set up and clean dining area before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
