Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items, providing advice on food and drink combinations and accommodating special dietary requests
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special accommodations
  • exhibit excellent communication skills and maintain a positive demeanor with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • handle sensitive guest information with confidentiality
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and escalate to supervisors as necessary
  • ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining area before and after service periods
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other assigned duties as needed
