Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs
  • demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate dietary preferences and allergens
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct orders and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up and clean
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
