High school diploma or equivalent
previous serving experience preferred
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to communicate clearly and effectively
basic math skills for cash handling
ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
flexible availability including weekends

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional needs
demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients
advise guests on food and drink combinations
accommodate dietary preferences and allergens
communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct orders and special requests
exhibit exceptional communication skills and patience
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
promptly address complaints and relay to supervisor
ensure dining room is properly set up and clean
operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
collaborate with other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
