Job Requirements
- Prior server experience
- basic high school education or equivalent
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- strong communication and customer service skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- prior senior living experience preferred
- food handlers certification preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- assist guests periodically with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
- remain flexible and patient in guest and staff interactions
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- handle complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisors
- set up and clean dining room before and after service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
