Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure correct orders and accommodate special requests
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- address complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisor
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- work with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
