Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- Collaborate with staff of other departments during special events
- Perform other duties as assigned
