Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders and accommodate special requests
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • Address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
  • Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • Operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • Collaborate with staff of other departments during special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
