Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work full-time or part-time with open availability including weekends and holidays
- prior server experience preferred but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- basic math competency for cash handling
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
- demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodation of special requests
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
- remains flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintains sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operates equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborates with other departments during events and functions
- performs other assigned duties
