Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to stand for extended periods and carry food trays
- demonstrated customer service experience is a plus but not required
- ability to work well in a team environment
- willing to learn and adapt to company standards
- knowledge of basic menu items and ability to explain them to guests
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- advises guests on menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
- communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and patience with guests and staff
- collects payment and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality of sensitive personal or medical information
- promptly addresses guest complaints or issues and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining room setup prior to and after service periods
- operates kitchen and beverage equipment as necessary
- collaborates with other departments during special events and functions
- performs other duties as assigned
