Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic mathematical skills for cash handling
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices beneficial but not required
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations
- communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- addresses complaints or issues promptly, relaying information to supervisors
- sets up and cleans the dining room before and after service
- operates equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events and functions
- performs other assigned duties as necessary
