Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally
- maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
- communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and flexibility
- collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality of personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues
- ensures proper dining room setup before and after service
- operates dining equipment including beverage machines
- works with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
