Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally
  • maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
  • communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and flexibility
  • collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe and neat dining environment
  • maintains confidentiality of personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues
  • ensures proper dining room setup before and after service
  • operates dining equipment including beverage machines
  • works with other departments during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
