Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to cooperate with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints and relay information to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
