Job Requirements

  • Prior server experience preferred
  • Willingness to work full-time or part-time including weekends
  • Ability to work scheduled hours Monday through Sunday 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle cash transactions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Flexibility to perform various duties as assigned
  • Ability to operate dining room equipment
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior server experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Ability to multitask and remain patient under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation
  • Follow up with guests periodically to assist with additional needs
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary requests
  • Communicate with kitchen and back-of-the-house staff to ensure accuracy of orders
  • Collect tickets and handle cash transactions properly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • Address guest complaints and relay information to supervisor
  • Set up and clean dining areas before and after service periods
  • Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • Collaborate with other departments during special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
