Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of one year experience in a waiter or waitress role
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- basic knowledge of special dietary needs and allergens
- physical stamina to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders in an efficient manner following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and tidy dining environment
- maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information shared by guests
- address dining complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
- set up and clean the dining room before and after service
- operate a variety of dining room equipment including coffee machines and soda dispensers
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform additional duties as assigned
