Job Requirements

  • One year of previous waiter or waitress experience required
  • ability to work full time or part time with open availability
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle cash and transactions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of one year experience in a waiter or waitress role
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • basic knowledge of special dietary needs and allergens
  • physical stamina to stand and walk for prolonged periods

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders in an efficient manner following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and tidy dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information shared by guests
  • address dining complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
  • set up and clean the dining room before and after service
  • operate a variety of dining room equipment including coffee machines and soda dispensers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform additional duties as assigned
