Job Requirements

No previous experience required
Open availability preferred including days, evenings, and weekends
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Customer service experience is a plus but not required
Ability to understand and relay menu information and dietary restrictions
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
Takes food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
Delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
Follows up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on appropriate combinations
Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
Promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
Addresses complaints or issues promptly and relays information to supervisors
Ensures dining room is properly set up prior to and after service period
Operates various equipment including fire extinguishers and coffee machines
Works with other departments during special events
Performs other assigned duties
