Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling standards
  • Assists guests with additional needs and requests periodically
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations
  • Communicates effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
  • Addresses guest complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
  • Prepares the dining room before and after service, keeping it clean and organized
  • Operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • Collaborates with other departments during special events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
