- ability to work full-time schedule including early morning shifts

- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on suitable combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences, including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and the ability to get along well with others
- remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
- ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments to perform duties during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
