Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capacity to follow sanitation and safety protocols
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • flexible and patient attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in hospitality, restaurant, or customer service preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • teamwork and collaboration skills
  • basic cash handling abilities

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain flexibility and patience
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
