Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink pairings
  • accommodate dietary restrictions and allergen concerns
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and flexibility with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
  • promptly address complaints or issues relaying information to supervisors
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
