Job Qualifications

- prior food service or customer service experience preferred

- basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients advising guests on food and drink pairings
- accommodate dietary restrictions and allergen concerns
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience and flexibility with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
- promptly address complaints or issues relaying information to supervisors
- ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
