Job Requirements
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work part-time schedule Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- Must be located or able to commute to Mountain View, California
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food service
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Willingness to adhere to food handling and sanitation standards
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours and collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and menu changes
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Takes food and beverages in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- Delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrates understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on food and drink combinations
- Communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
- Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment
- Addresses complaints promptly and escalates to supervisor as needed
- Ensures dining room is set up properly before and after service periods
- Operates equipment including coffee machines and soda dispensers
- Works with staff from other departments during special events
- Performs other duties as assigned
