Job Requirements
- No previous experience required
- availability to work Monday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service orientation
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to learn and be trained
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special accommodations
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility in guest and staff interactions
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and maintain cleanliness
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines and coffee makers
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
