Job Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • availability to work Monday through Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • strong attention to detail and customer service mindset

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong customer service orientation
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to learn and be trained
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special accommodations
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility in guest and staff interactions
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and maintain cleanliness
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines and coffee makers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
