Job Requirements
- Prior barista experience preferred
- ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including weekends
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- commitment to adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- willingness to learn and adapt to guest needs
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- prior barista experience preferred
- ability to handle cash transactions
- basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- knowledge of specialized diets and allergens is a plus
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and works well with others
- follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe and neat dining environment
- addresses guest complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
- ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operates equipment including fire extinguishers, coffee machines, and beverage dispensers
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
