Job Requirements

  • Prior barista experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • commitment to adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • willingness to learn and adapt to guest needs
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • prior barista experience preferred
  • ability to handle cash transactions
  • basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • knowledge of specialized diets and allergens is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
  • delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and works well with others
  • follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe and neat dining environment
  • addresses guest complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
  • ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
  • operates equipment including fire extinguishers, coffee machines, and beverage dispensers
  • collaborates with other departments during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
