Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary requests
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • maintain clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • address guest complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor
  • set up and tidy dining room before and after service periods
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
