Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate understanding of menu items, ingredients, and accommodate special dietary requests
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- address guest complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor
- set up and tidy dining room before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
