Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior elder care experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks required for the position
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
  • reliable transportation to Kingsbridge location
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a flexible, patient attitude
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • address complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments for special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
