Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capable of lifting moderate weights
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages in an efficient manner following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
  • communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintains sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays relevant information to supervisors
  • ensures the dining room is properly set up before and after service
  • operates various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborates with other departments during special events and performs other duties as assigned
