Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work full-time 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • physical ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods
  • willingness to work in a healthcare environment
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • reliable transportation to the work location
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, restaurant, and/or patient/customer service experience preferred
  • willing to learn and train
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special request accommodation
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and staff
  • follow cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events
  • perform other assigned duties
