Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work full-time 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills for cash handling
- physical ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods
- willingness to work in a healthcare environment
- ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- reliable transportation to the work location
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, and/or patient/customer service experience preferred
- willing to learn and train
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special request accommodation
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and staff
- follow cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
- ensure proper dining room setup before and after service
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other assigned duties
