Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar waiter/waitress role
- availability to work part-time on weekends
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain flexibility and patience when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding guest information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service following sanitation standards
- operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
