Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous serving experience
- ability to work flexible hours including rotating weekends and holidays
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- reliable transportation to work location

- knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders and special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- handle complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- set up and clean dining room before and after service
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
