Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a serving or customer service role preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients while advising guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests accommodated
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and flexibility when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining area
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room setup before and after service, keeping area clean and sanitary
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other assigned duties as needed
